Shows We had two major shows annually. Lectures and demonstrations of bonsai techniques are provided by members. Until 2018, our spring show was at the Brandywine River Museum in their outdoor courtyard. That venue has been discontinued and we have not yet found a replacement. The fall show is held in the Conservatory at Longwood Gardens and may include a show of viewing stones as well as our bonsai. In addition to these shows, we generally show trees at the MidAtlantic Bonsai Societies exhibition in the spring. This show includes demonstrations by important international bonsai masters and there are also vendor areas to purchase bonsai and equipment. Pictures from these shows are provided in our Galleries.
