Diane has been throwing and making hand built pottery
for well over twenty years. Most of her pottery is hand thrown on a
pottery wheel, but occasional pieces are hand built using coils or slabs.
Some pieces may be hand carved or altered after throwing by tearing or
waving. She likes to experiment with different types of clays, mixing
and formulating most of her own clay and glaze recipes from their raw
materials.
