A native of California, Rose Cheng moved to Japan when her husband worked for
the Japanese extension of Cal Tech's Jet Propulsion Laboratories in Kyoto.
There she learned bonsai and started here career as a potter. The pots
pictured here were gifts to Dorie Froning and Jack Billet.
