Ross Adams started off working as a
landscaper in California where he developed an appreciation for Eastern
(as in Pacific Rim, not US) aesthetics. He moved to Pennsylvania in 1975
to do graduate work and in the 80's got seriously into bonsai. The late
90's brought an intro to making his own pots. Together with
Nate Knott, and
Jason Bloom, he started Nitju Clayworks. Nate followed his heart
back to Nebraska, Jason has turned his focus on his functional pottery
business, Halfmoon Pottery, and Ross is still at the pots and his bonsai
trees. He
is "still
a student of bonsai & clay." |
